We started with something comforting and communal. The Oka raclette arrived molten and lightly torched, perfect for spooning over soft baby potatoes. The slices of fresh bakery sourdough tied everything together with a rustic, satisfying finish.
The tartar felt beautifully balanced. The venison was tender and seasoned with a creamy egg emulsion and shaved Romano. Pickled cranberries added a burst of sharp sweetness, and the puffed wild rice gave just the right amount of crunch. Spread over fresh sourdough, it was a thoughtful, elegantly layered dish.
For our main, we shared the lamb rack. The seasoning was warm and aromatic, and the meat perfectly cooked. A drizzle of kale oil and a touch of mint lifted the richness in a way that kept each bite feeling fresh.

Last year, Aufgusshow introduced a new kind of spectacle to the Spa Village. The sauna became a stage, and Show Aufguss brought storytelling, music, and choreography into the heart of the ritual. This year, something new arrives.
Competitors can showcase their craft in three categories: Show Aufguss solo, Show Aufguss duo, and Modern Classic Aufguss. Some will tell bold, theatrical stories. Others will focus on technique, rhythm, and connection. All share the same goal: to earn their place on the international stage.
Almost a year later, the Ritual Artisan from Nordik Spa Village Chelsea is returning to the stage—once again at Thermea Spa Village Whitby—for Aufgusshow 2026, ready to tell a new story in the sauna and invite guests a little closer to themselves.
