Finnish Sauna

Long ago, these Nordic wooden cabins were places of birth, healing and purification. In this all-wood space, enveloping warmth emanates from a wood-burning or electric stove.
To Try in the Village
• The Finlandia is the Village's largest sauna. Made of solid wood, the space is warmed by a stove, topped with stones, and three tiers of benches offering the possibility of varying exposure to the heat. Windows let in natural light, while offering a view of the heart of the Village.
• The Barik is a small, intimate, windowless, barrel-shaped sauna. The heat is felt more intensely here.
Ritual Sauna

Several times during the day, the whole Village comes together in this type of sauna to experience an Aufguss. An imposing stone-topped stoves is used to heat up the space, sometimes with snowballs infused with essential oils or herbal infusions.

In the Finlandia, four types of Aufguss are offered during the day. Sometimes, snowballs, placed on the stones of the stove, release the fragrance of essential oils, which are dispersed throughout the room by towel movements and sometimes veniks. The space can accommodate up to 40 people.

Steam Sauna

In a steam sauna, also known as a hammam, steam mixed with essential oils creates a dense atmosphere. In addition to giving the impression of being in a cloud, this hot steam clears the respiratory tract. The temperature of the humid air, which varies between 40 and 50°C, makes you feel warm differently.

In the two Vaporos, subdued lighting combines with a mist laden with eucalyptus or orange essential oils. With every breath, the warm steam fills the lungs, bringing benefits to body and mind.
