No, the access to the Spa Village, where you can enjoy over 15 thermal facilities — including saunas, baths and rest areas — throughout the day, is not included with a massage or treatment booking.

Yes, all our massage therapists are registered in Manitoba.  At the end of the massage, an insurance receipt is sent by e-mail. We suggest that you validate your coverage with your insurer beforehand and confirm their requirements. Please note that body treatments are performed by aestheticians and that the costs associated with these treatments are generally not covered by insurance companies.

Yes, we can send you your insurance receipt again. Please write to us at info@thermea.ca and include the following information:

• Your full name
• The date of your visit
• A brief message saying that you would like to receive your receipt again

Your receipt will be emailed to you within two to three business days.

Choose the massage that suits you from our simplified selection: Intensive, Relaxation or Mom-To-Be. Here are a few questions to help you make an informed choice:  

• Do you want to concentrate on a particular area or go deeper? The Intensive massage is just what you need.
• Do you simply want to relax? Then the Relaxation massage is perfect for you. 

Whatever type of massage you choose, the massage therapist will adapt the session to meet your needs

On the day of your appointment, arrive 15 minutes before your massage begins. This will allow time to complete our health questionnaire at your leisure.

To make the most of this relaxing experience, we encourage you to talk to your massage therapist before and during the session. Don't hesitate to ask questions, talk about your areas of tension, share your expectations or any discomfort. Communication is the key to ensuring that your experience is as beneficial as it is soothing.

For massages and certain treatments, we suggest you undress completely. This improves the fluidity of the movements and makes it easier to apply the products. However, you can keep your underwear on if you prefer. To ensure your comfort and privacy, you will always be covered with a sheet during the massage or treatment, and only the part of your body being treated will be uncovered.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your massage. This will allow you to complete our health questionnaire before the session without feeling rushed.

No, tipping is at your discretion. We suggest a minimum tip of 15%.

The Mom-To-Be massage is offered to pregnant women who have completed their thirteenth week of pregnancy. We do not offer prenatal massages before this stage.

The products used during the treatment do not contain essential oils, as these are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Pregnant women should consult their doctor before receiving their first massage, especially if their pregnancy is considered high-risk.

Yes, you can enjoy a massage or body treatment without booking an access to the Spa Village. Please note that massages and body treatments do not include an access to the Spa Village. If you wish to enjoy the widest selection of mind-body wellness experiences in the Prairies, you must book an access to the Spa Village in addition to your massage or body treatment.
