The Heber Down Conservation Area

Where is it? 5000 Cochrane Street, Whitby, Ontario
What hike should I do? The Joe Drumm trail takes you to the Devil’s Den Trail which is a lovely loop that will take you back to the main entrance (a quick 10-minute drive from the spa)
Can I bring my dog? Leashed pets are welcome on all trails!

The Trail Hub Uxbridge

Where is it? 722 Chalk Lake Rd, Uxbridge, Ontario
What hike should I do? For a chill trail, go east. For a more intermediate option, go north.
Can I bring my dog? Yes, but keep it leashed at all times.

The Greenwood Conservation Area

Where is it? 2290 Greenwood Rd, Ajax, Ontario
What hike should I do? The 14.5 km loop will take you a few hours to finish and is the perfect spot to add some birdwatching to your hiking.
Can I bring my dog? Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

What’s forest bathing?

The Durham Forest

Where is it? 3821 Concession Rd 7, Goodwood, Ontario
What hike should I do? Head straight to the Red Oak Trail, with the Maze, Ogre and Out and White Pine Trail for a moderately challenging route that takes 2 to 3 hours to complete.
Can I bring my dog? Dogs are welcome on leash.

The Seaton Hiking Trail

Where is it? Head to the park on the west side of West Duffins Creek, south side of Whitevale Road in the village of Whitevale.
What hike should I do? The Seaton Hiking trail, of course! It’s nearly 13 km of moderate hiking.
Can I bring my dog? With a leash!
